This is a really cool oil painting--I'm going to see if I can look up the artist. Bob Yunan? Yuinan? Even if it's just a nothing painting, I totally dig it. It's about 16x20, and it was only ten bucks! Score!
And these are just little floral prints, but they're so cheerful and bright! They cost more than I really wanted to spend (12.50 for the pair), but I wasn't gonna let that other person get them! I'm trying to decide where to put them. Maybe the kitchen. Maybe the bathroom. Maybe the guest room. Hmmm. I love small art!
So that's it. Big night, huh? The auction was actually over at 10:30, so not as late as we usually go, but my legs are still tired.

I love the poppy painting on the bottom right! You got some deals there:) I wanted to ask you if you send out emails about when your latest work will be up in your shop. I always miss them!
Y'know, I really should notify people when new pieces are going to be listed, but I'm just in such a habit of listing them as they're finished. Maybe I'll just have to make a concentrated effort to list things like you do--I really admire the way you photograph your ladies and promote your listings. And I'm sad I missed Bebe. She was really lovely.
Thanks Amy!I know that takes time , but maybe a quick note on your site that a few items will be up that day or the next. I know it's hard to be specific when you're working and have a family:)
Amy-
I've seen your work on the Blue Galley website and I love it. Your paintings are hauntingly wonderful.
Peace.
Thanks Cassandra! I love your work, too. I think our paintings look well together, they really compliment each other.
Do you send things to Kelly on a regular basis?
I'm so glad you stumbled across my blog--it's awesome to meet you!
I have more to say about your artwork. I seldom find paintings that make me get all excited and want to paint. Yours are on that short list. I really do think your work is interesting, original and for me it brings out strange... emotions!? I'm a fan. I'm excited to see what you do over the next few years.
I don't have much at Blue Gallery. Just a couple here and there.
Back to work!
Happy painting, C
Hey Amy,
I was there with my Husband. Robert had the 46 ford pickup truck with the flamed hood. (we were the old leathery looking biker folks) It was a great show!
So which leathery looking biker folks were you?
Kidding, kidding!
There were so many great cars and trucks there--it always makes my head spin. I'm glad you guys had a good time--I know the guys in the car club love hearing feedback. The show's gotten so big in last few years, it's really amazing to see how many awesome people show up!
Thanks for the comment!
