The awesome Courtney interviewed me earlier this week and you can check out my inane ramblings at her blog, here. Thanks, Courtney!
As for updates at the ol' Etsy shop, I'm listing some new watercolor ACEO's and two small oil paintings! Maybe some drawings if I get a chance.

And yesterday morning I got my hair cut (FINALLY) at the fabulous Darling Room. Johny did a great job and was everything that my last stylist lacked: he was attentive, informative, he listened, offered great advice. I think I finally found the stylist I can trust with my ridiculously thin and straight hair. In short, YAY!

It's been snowing since early this morning, but it's just too warm to stick. So we get the loveliness of falling snow without the icy mess--nice!
Thanksgiving was quiet, just the three of us. We ate so much, though! I made cornbread stuffing, Tofurky, mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans. Yum. I also baked a pecan pie, a pumpkin pie, and some peanut butter cookies. We had some neighbors over for dessert and coffee Thursday night. That was fun and the kiddos had entirely too much sugar--WHOO HOO!

Being a carnivore I smiled at your Tofurkey trying to imagine the shape. I'm really commenting to say that's a very flattering hairstyle it frames your face quite nicely. I see YOU in so many of your paintings. Hope that your little one is feeling better. 'Tis the season! ~Elaine
woo! i'm glad you had a delicious thanksgiving, and thanks so much again for taking the time to do my interview!
cheers!
Thanks, ladies!
The tofurky is really just a little roundish soy-based "roast" with wild-rice stuffing inside. Hee hee--it's better than it sounds. But then again, it's been ten years since I've eaten turkey. A carnivore would much rather have the real thing, I'm sure! :)
As you know, I TOTALLY love your new hairstyle - it really suits you!
We had t-day home alone just the two of us as well. I really liked it - felt really grown up. I made a pork loin roast because I'm still afraid of cooking an entire bird. I made the 101 Cookbooks recipe for cornmeal bake and I think you two would have like it. Vegan and hearty! And then we just did roasted root veggies and brussel sprouts. YUM!
Yay for non-stick snow!
These paintings are really beautiful- always haunting! And love the new 'do, I just cut my hair too, must be something in the air ;)
I love the hair and the interview.
You are so awesome for mentioning me too. You rock Amy!
I made tofurkey one year. I vowed never again. = ) he he ... Nah, it wasn't so bad.
