The lovely Maria Vasquez Boyd was kind enough to think of me for her What We Do Is Secret series. She came over and took these photos of my studio and they're on the Present Magazine's site right now!

It's always fun to see other people's reaction to my working space and find out the things they're drawn to; what piques their interest. My studio is so full of stuff I'm never quite sure what visitors will see first.
I hope you enjoy the photos and look for her next article in April!

Oh Amy, how exciting for you! I loved taking a peek around your studio. My jaw dropped twice: first when seeing that unfinished piece of the two women. If and when you ever decide to sell that piece...*waves hand wildly* PICK ME PICK ME!!! The second time was when I realized you have all of these unfinished girls just hanging out. I would love to win a prize called One Day Alone in Amy's Studio just to take my time and really look and look and look some more. xo Paige
Thanks Paige! I'm glad you enjoyed it--I need to take more photos of the studio, I think. It's been a while (a few years!), although not much has changed there.
Sad to say, the painting of the two girls already belongs to another. I did an art trade, which I very rarely ever do.
I'd love for you to see my studio! Although there's a lot of just STUFF crammed into every corner. It's better than it was, though...
Great article about your space; loved the pictures. So proud of you!
Love you...

Congrats! That painting of the two women...looks like they're peeking behind a curtain? GORGEOUS!
