Here's a peek at the oil paintings that I promised. I don't often have original oil paintings in my Etsy shop, and I figured that maybe I'd see how these did. I wish I had a stash of finished work just laying around to sell, I suppose that's how some artists work. But instead, I sell (or try to sell) paintings just as soon as they're dry enough to handle and frame. I guess first of all because I have no room in my small studio to store finished pieces, and second of all, why would I sit on these instead of putting them out there into the world? I guess if I were working on a series where the paintings had to show together to make sense that would be different (and I do have some ideas for a series, but that's far off in the future).
